Card no. 81 - Happy Birthday William!

One of my dearest friend's sons has his birthday today and I was struggling what to make for him. He's ten, so the card could't be even close to girly - so, I went for extra plain with plain paper, no embellishments and not even hint of pink... ha! I did use a tiny bit of Stickles on the tree - couldn't resist.
It was actually really fun to make. I made a window with Spellbinders on the front and attaching another image (the Tree) inside - under that is another paper with personal message. I think I like the look of it (a lot). Will have to make few more.

Well, Just Magnolia is running their Anything Goes challenge (#80), so this will work perfectly.

Card no. 68 - Second Wedding Card for Today

This is my second post for today - I had some spare time while the girls were hanging out with daddy, so what else - I went on craftin'

I used Magnolia Down Under's Challenge Sketch no. 63 and came up with this Wedding card, that I made custom to order. The sketch was fun to follow and exactly what I needed to help me out with this card. I fancied it up with some feathers, pearls and rhinestones ... talk about bling! Teee heee ....

Card no. 67 - Yet another Wedding card ...

After looking for THE perfect black ink, I've finally found it. Sweet Melodie from Art from the Heart recommended Memento Ink - and yes! That's it! Works like a charm - no embossing needed. Yipeeeee!!!!

Anyways, today's card is another custom request for a Wedding (and at least one more to make too - by Tuesday). I couldn't find any sketch this week that I'd like to go with, so I just did simple layout - nothing too fancy, but the card turned out pretty cute (I think).

Once again, simple & quick. Used a lot of Stickles and this time I even sprayed it with Glimmer Mist (Iridescent Gold) - so shimmery & yummy! I used my Cricut to cut out that gorgeous Monarch Butterfly and added extra pearls for that extra touch. Done and voilà ...

Card no. 65 - Wedding bells are ringing ...

My mom, being the business woman she is, she sold one of my cards before it was even made - the request - a Wedding Congratulations - in Slovak... so this is officially my first SOLD card ... yipeeee!!!! I am SO excited!

Trying to figure out what to make I came across this gorgeous Basic Gray paper and I thought "This is it!" All I needed was my couple and simple embelishments. I was looking for a gorgeous Monarch butterfly everywhere, but I couldn't find "the perfect" one, so when I finally found a silhouette of this beauty bellow I had to have him. I created SVG file and had him cut with my Cricut - turned out fabulous! Don't you think?
I Stickled him pretty good and added few pearls. Yummy!
