Card no. 51 - Thank you + OCC + more ...

Hello ladies ... another card made this week ... woo hoo... I think I am getting better at using only one hand to do stuff. I like seriously did the whole thing with Hannah on my lap (including typing this) ;)

I made this card for one special mommy who is absolutely awesome and brought me delicious food for my whole family. YUMMY! She loves crafts and I can't wait to get together with her to do crafting :)

I am entering this card in the OCC Sketch Challenge. The layout was super cute and I needed an inspiration. I used my new DCWV Papers (Mediterrian) that were on super sale at JoAnns - oh, so gorgeous - just looove the bright colors. I used my never used stamp from Stampavie - what a pleasure coloring this one - I used my beloved ProMarkers a ShinHan Markers. I cut out the butterfly from the deco paper and sprayed the whole finished card with the Glimmer Mist. The rhinestones are from KaiserCrafts and Ribbon is from JoAnn's that I've got ages ago. I used Distress Ink (weathered wood) to do the shading around the image. Flowers are from Prima and I punched out few branch leafs with my Martha Stewart Punch.

I really like this card - it just screams "SUMMER"!

I am celebrating my (over) 50th card, my birthday (on 13th) and over 13,000 visitors so I am putting together one special package, soooooo keep your eyes peeled for the next few posts - I might be giving it away :)

Card no. 50 - Touch of Spring - Challenge + more

Another bright colored card. Yum! Yellow is my favorite color, so it was such Joy to do this card. Nowdays it takes me at least two days to do one card, because my little eater (weighing 11lbs 4oz - gaining 5lbs in just 2 months) keeps eating aaall day & night looong :)

I am entering this card into Stamp Something Challenge - the Theme for this week is "Touch of Spring" - I think these little chickies couldn't describe Spring any better; and also to Stamp with Fun - the Theme is Stitch - this newly discovered technique is sooo much fun :)

I used my brand new Whiff of Joy stamps - Oh, just gorgeous!!! And super simple layout that I went by as I progressed with the card :) I bought the papers in Salt Lake City, UT last year and they are made by Reminisce (yum!) called Little Chicks. I used Martha Stewart's Flower Border Punch. To finish the card I embelished it with Prima Flowers + few MS punched out branches and I added few Dew Drops from Robin's Nest.

Card no. 49 - Let's go shopping ...

This card is for the weekly WOJ challenge #67 - Pearls & Swirls.

I used gorgeous stamp of Willow shopping. I also tried using my sewing machine for the first time on paper and I think it looks OK. What do you think? I might start using this technique more often ;-) I also used the scrap paper for her bags and real tissue paper for the, well, tissue paper...
I sprayed the finished card with Iridesent Gold Glimmer Mist. YUM!! The papers are (I believe) from S.E.I. Collections. The base paper is from Gemstones and the branches are punched with MS Branch Punch out of Bazzill Basics Paper. The gorgeous border and corner punches are also from Martha Stewart. Pearls are by Kaiser Crafts and flowers are by Prima.

Card no. 48 - Just for You!

Oh, my ... it's unbelievable how little time I have to do ANYTHING with a new baby in the house :) I feel like I am always nursing or nursing ... he he ...

It took me about 3 days to post this. I used the Friday Sketcher's layout and my brand new stamps from Whiff of Joy. I just love them. I also used the new super cute cartridge from Cricut (Love Struck)! I glittered the cut out "fancy" heart & few of Charlotte's letters with Stickles. Yum! ;)

Sooo without too much of a delay (because I am typing with one hand - the baby is sleeping on me) here is my creation.
