Card no. 94 - Sweet Lily of the Valley Card

Happy Saturday! For many this is the weekend! For me nothing changes - lol - stay at home mom. :) We also had absolutely crazy week - not busy, but just looong - I've been sick & the kids were eeeextremely whiny (oh, my goodness! that's one thing - and few more lol - that can drive me totally crazy). Anyways, my hubby has to work this weekend (AGAIN!). When I ask if he could stay home he says: "Flu doesn't know weekend, people get sick on the weekend .." and off he goes ... *sigh*

Anywhoo, it's almost midnight - by the time I finish this post it will be past midnight - and I just finished this little baby. Papers are Bazzill Basics & S.E.I. Image is lovely Lily of the Valley stamp and (of course) colored with my ProMarkers & Copics, added a bit of bling with Star Dust Stickles. Gorgeous rosy ribbon is American Crafts (oh, my - love them all) & flowers are from 7kidscollegefund.com - they were white, I just sprayed them with Tattered Angel's Glimmer Mist in Daisy Yellow. Rhinestones are from JoAnn. The finished card was "glimmered up" with Glimmer Mist in Iridescent Gold. I also used Martha's not-so-new-now Cherish Hearts Border punch.

Hope you're having a great day & happy Sunday!

Card no. 93 - Oh, darn it! Just missed it ...

Just realized that I missed Just Magnolia challenge this week - oh, well .... The layout by Mina was fabulous, so I've got at least a great practice ... lol.

I used Bazzill Basics Paper & American Crafts (City Park) Paper. So cute & bold. The lacy border is made with border punch by EK Success. Ribbon is from JoAnn. Flowers are Prima. Lovely Birthday Tilda is from the new So Special Collection (colored with Copics & ProMarkers).

Card no. 92 - Still feeling the L♡VE (... and will for a while)

He he ... this one is one of the "projects" I mentioned previously. Was working on it, but didn't finish until few days ago. It's for my husband's sweet Aunt Judy & Uncle Tom - truly the sweetest people on Earth!

I used my FAVORITE papers of all time (so far) - Making Memories - Je t'adore collection. Soooo gorgeous! I also used my "new" Tim Holtz's Rosette die - aaaaah, simply the best time-saver EVER! (Can you tell I am excited? LoL)
Also, the image is super sweet Tilda from the new So Special Collection. Such joy to color her (with my ProMarkers & Copics). As embellishments I used Rosy Ribbon by American Craft, Pearls from Michaels (Recollections? - I think) & Doily heart from JoAnn. I used Spellbinder's Labels no. Ten, Martha Stewart's new Cherish Hearts Border Punch.

The idea of this "book"card came from fabulous Tina's Blog (as Tina46) ... Her blog is so inspirational and absolutely fantastic!

Have you had a love-filled day?

It started beautifully (as every year of my married life). My husband is a huuuge romantic (and that's one of many things I LVE about him). He surprised me with roses in our kitchen. I didn't expect them until the evening *wink* *wink*

I made our breakfast ...
... and both Lana & ...
... Hannah devoured the yummy heart-shaped pancakes with boysenberry syrup and whipped cream. Talk about sweet tooth, eh?

I wanted to include a project I made for my sweet friend last week and didn't manage to upload. This is the packaging. I used the lovely Tilda from the Fairytale Collection, colored with ProMarkers, ShinHanMarkers & Copics. I added some Stickles. The gorgeous papers are from Scenic Route - had them for ages and was sad to use them, but I just LOOOOOVE how it turned out. I think the flower is from 7kidscollegeFund.com I also used Martha Stewart's Branch Punch and EK Success new Lacy Border punch (name???).

... and voilà...

The stamp in the back is Inkadinkado - Round Frames. I stamped it with red MS pad and embossed it with clear powder. Added few ribbons. Easy-peasy.

And this is what was inside ...
I made her a camera strap slip cover (exactly the same as mine). It was suuuuuper easy. I followed the steps from this website. Literally it took me 30 minutes to make. I added a felt flower and it was done. The fabric is from Jo-Ann.

Hope you had such a fabulous day as I did.

My New Baby

Hello, hello ... I would like to apologize for being gone and "uncrafty" past few days. My husband is applying for residencies (will start this June/July), so we've been busy researching and making our rank list. Top choice Salt Lake City, UT and then Phoenix, AZ; Tuscon, AZ ... we have about 12 programs. Please, keep us in our prayers.
Also, we've been trying to "hang out" together, because we know that once he starts he won't have as much time just to "hang out". Oh, Gosh! Can't wait for this to be over.

Anyways, I had some great business this January, so I treated myself to ...

... THIS:
Oh, my GOSH! I am in love! This is such a dream ...
I've been shooting everything from our dinner table to girls being silly. Will post pictures soon.

Also, I've been working on few projects. Need to edit the pics and finish few of them and then I will upload them.

Hope you're having a great day!

Much love,
