Card no. 41 - Sugar & Spice (and Everything Nice)

A "girly" birthday card for a little friend of my daughter ...
I used my Cricut Design Studio ... can't work without it anymore ... and created these sweet butterflies in different sizes. Aren't they adorable? I used one of my all time favorite Magnolia stamp and finished it off with punched out flowers. Did I say ... GIRLY?

I used the Sketch Saturday's Blog's latest Sketch and came up with this little number:

Card no. 40 - Snowed in Henry ...

I can't believe it's almost Christmas ... We have also scheduled our C-Section for the 17th, so it's only 30 days away ... aaaaaaaaaah .... the time surely flies ;)

Anyways, I've been playing with some glitter and made this card using not-sure-what's-the-name-of-that technique. I punched out the Acetate sheets and sealed it with 3D-Dots pouring some "snowy' glitter in the middle. I think Henry the Mouse is enjoying the skying in the "real" snow ... What do you think? I used my Cricut and MS Punches to cut out few snowflakes from the Acetate and sparkled them with the crystal glitter by Martha Stewart. I embossed the white "fluffy" parts of Henry's hat with some white embossing powder to give it some dimension.

Well, friend of mine's son is turning 1.... wooo hooo .... how exciting! I remember him just like a teeny tiny baby and now he's turning 1. The time surely flies.
I used my Cricut a lot on this project to create the swirls, number, sentiment on the inside and the scalloped circles.

I partially used the Whiff of Joy Sketch from their Challenge Blog ☺ Thank you!!!

Anyways, here is the card I made for him. Happy 1st Birthday Vincent!!!

Our family's dear friends helped us tremendously and I am just so so soooooo grateful!!! I made this card to fit two gift cards that go into the two side pockets on the inside.

I hope they'll notice how much we appreciate them!!! THANK YOU Marissa & Mark ... YOU ARE FANTASTIC!!!!

I cut the Snowflakes with my Cricut and embossed them with silver embossing powder ... I also added a little bit of velvet flock on Henry's hat and scarf ... Isn't he cute?

Little late, but ... Halloween Box with Cookies for the Teacher

My daughter and I made yummy cookies for her Teacher. She said she truly enjoyed them. Too bad I am the only one who enjoys cookies in my family, I would surely love to bake more often.

Hope ya'll had fantastic weekend!

I used the stamps from Fiskars and papers from Heidi Grace Designs (Fiskars) - Jeepers Creepers|Candy Corn & Decor Stripe.

I, of course, embossed the images ...
I used the Scalloped Edge punch from EK Success and Marvy Uchida's 2 1/2in Scalloped Circle Punch. I also used my Sure Cuts a Lot to cut the little window in the middle. My best friend was Martha Stewart's Craft Knife ☺

ENJOY!!!
